Title of Book: Danny the champion of the world

Summarize the story:

This book is told in a first person narrative by danny, here is the story

When Danny was four months old, his mom died suddenly, making his dad take care of him alone.

They lived in a gypsy caravan behind a filling station and they worked on cars in a workshop.

There was an apple tree behind the caravan.

Danny had a great childhood, his dad always told him stories before he went to bed.

One night his dad, while danny was asleep, went to poach some birds from Mr.Hazell (he is mean) without danny knowing. But danny caught his dad and said he could only poach if Danny's dad told him.

Danny's dad did it again and said "I promise i'll be back by 10:00 P.M. at the latest. Danny woke up at 2:00 A.M. and his dad wasn't there. So he went to find is dad in a car they had been working on. His dad was in a pit with a broken ankle. They went home called a doctor and got Danny's dad better. He came back with some sleeping pills and a metal brace on his leg. Danny told his dad about a plan to catch birds that involved raisins and the pills. They went to try it and it worked perfectly. They tried to carry the birds but they woke up and flew away. But six of them were still asleep and they gave 2 to every family. Then danny and his dad got an oven.

Yes, because it had sad parts and happy parts and a lot of exciting parts, I would rate it ages 4-10

Title of Book: George's marvelous medicine

Author: Roald Dahl

Setting: Farmhouse

Main Characters

1. George, about 12 years old, kind

2. Grandma, over 65, mean

3. Mom, in her thirties, average mom

4. Dad, also in his thirties, excitable

5. Animals, don't even try to estimate how old, various farm animals (cow, hen...)

Summarize the story:

Grandma, who is a little crazy, yells at George because he's growing up. She thought he should grow down. George makes a medicine that will replace grandma's other medicine, because she always yells at him and he is sick of it. George gives Grandma the medicine, then she grows, then to show grandma he made the medicine, George gives some to a hen. The parents come home from shopping to see a giant hen, a giant grandma, and George. Dad finds out the whole story. He tells George to make more medicine, because he wants bigger animals. He and his Dad keep making mistakes, the first attempt on a chicken, made it have longer legs. The second attempt on another chicken gave it a longer neck. The third attempt was on Grandma and it made her shrink so small you couldn't see or hear her. It ended so abruptly, with out a real conclusion, it kinda just ended.

Yes, I would definitely recommend it to a friend, because it was extremely funny.

Summarize the story:

Billy goes to his old favorite candy store, The Grubber. He meets three animals that are window washers, a monkey, a pelican and a giraffe. The pelican and the giraffe have special powers; the pelican can put the top of its beak inside it's neck, and the giraffe can extend it's neck, and the monkey, while not a special power dude, can dance. They go to the house of the owner of The Grubber. He is a rich duke . He hires them to clean his windows. They were really hungry so the rich guy gave them food. Billy catches the robber stealing the duchesses jewels so the duke gives him The Grubber. Billy and the animals say goodbye to each other. The animals stay and clean the windows, and Billy goes and takes care of his customers at The Grubber.

Yes, I would, even though it was a little short, but it was an extremely fun book.

hobbit 10

 I'm on chap. 10 in the hobbit now. There are some new characters coming in. Here are their names:

• The king (of wood elves)
• The chief guard
• All of the other wood elves
  

The wood elves capture the dwarfs. Bilbo has to save them because the wood elves put them in prison cells. The elves capture the dwarves because long ago there was a war between Elves, dwarves and goblins. The elves still see the dwarves as the enemy. Everybody still sees the goblins as the enemy.

Bilbo saves the dwarves from the elves by putting on his ring and getting the keys from the chief guard, who was asleep from the wine he drank. He gets them out and hides them in barrels. The elves thinking the barrels are full of wine float them down the river. 

They will probably get out of the barrels in chap. 11.

chap 2 of hobbit BETTER VERSION

Some new characters came in and they are trolls. Here are their names:

• Tom
• Bert
• William

They have this victim cave which has swords, clothes, food and bodies of their victims.

In this book I'd say they are EVIL because they put the dwarves in bags and wanted to kill them (they are like vampires, they can't stand the sun)then gandalf comes back and tricks the trolls(they thought they lost him, he explained when the trolls turned to stone) by imitating their voices and well dawn came and goodbye trolls.

the hobbit

The main character is Bilbo Baggins and he is a hobbit. He has a pointy walking stick. Hobbits are little people with furry feet (as the picture shows you).He was very nice and he had a friend named Gandalf who was a wizard. Gandalf had friends who were dwarves. And they all went down to Bilbo's house to hang out. They talked about things bilbo didn't know about yet.They also sang. Now back to bilbo. Bilbo had a quiet life and he lived in this big tunnel which was very cool.

The dwarves, whose leader is Thorin, came to Bilbo house (tunnel) because Gandalf put a sign on the door that said "burglar". They were going to steal their gold back from the dragon named Old Smaug. Old Smaug ate people at night and took all of the gold from the dwarves.
